BUSINESS ADVICE

CONVEYANCING

Moving house is one of the most stressful activities that anyone can enter into. At Turner & Wall we try to minimise that stress by co-ordinating the transaction on your behalf and keeping you informed at every step during the Conveyancing procedure. It is our aim to ensure that you understand exactly what you are buying before you buy it.

The work will be dealt with by a qualified Solicitor with years of residential Conveyancing experience. Before you commit yourself we will report to you on the whole transaction. The meaning and effect of all important documents will be explained to you.

ESTATE AGENCY

Through our Estate Agency, Solicitors Property Shop (Keighley) we can provide an all inclusive package for the marketing, sales negotiation and conveyancing work relating to the sale of your property. Contact us as soon as possible when you decide to put your home on the market or when you start to look for a place to buy.

FAMILY LAW

At Turner & Wall we aim to offer a sympathetic approach to family problems whether arising between married couples or non-married partners. This includes advice on separation, divorce and other related matters such as access to and custody of children, financial and property disputes. We recognise the problems that can arise out of these matters and we endeavour at all times to be constructive in the advice we give in the hope that we can try to help Clients through this very difficult period.

We are able to provide assistance under Legal Help for those Clients who are eligible and operate an initial thirty minutes fixed fee interview at a charge of £55 (incl. of VAT).

LITIGATION

No matter how hard we try to avoid them, problems do happen - at home, at work, on the road or at leisure. Such problems may result in a claim or prosecution either by or against you.

At Turner & Wall, we have a dedicated team who specialise in helping people deal with problems. We have expertise in a wide range of areas of litigation including personal injury (accidents on the road, work, slips and trips or assaults), commercial and contractual disputes, employment difficulties, boundary and neighbour problems, housing disputes, professional negligence, claims and prosecutions by the Police and other authorities.

We provide a range of funding facilities including "no win, no fee", legal expenses insurance, legal aid and initial fixed fee interviews.

WILLS & PROBATE

Many people make the mistake of not drawing up a Will. Others attempt to draw up their own Wills only for someone to discover later on that it has no legal effect because it has not been done properly.

Whether your Estate is large or small, and whether your family circumstances are simple or complicated we have enormous experience in dealing with the drafting and preparation of Wills. At the same time, we can advise on related matters, e.g. how to minimise Inheritance Tax, the creation of Trusts, the protection of vulnerable individuals.

The loss of a relative or friend is obviously distressing - we can assist in the administration of the Estate and guide you through the forms and requirements that need to be completed.

Circumstances can arise when help may be needed because of an accident or illness. We can advise on how to ensure that your affairs are properly handled by use of Lasting Powers of Attorneys. We can even act as your Attorney, if you wish. In cases where persons have become confused, we can assist you with the Court procedure to ensure that their assets are properly protected.
